Our accredited Scorecard assessor will guide you through a thorough assessment process aimed at evaluating and improving your home’s energy efficiency
Initial Consultation
Our assessor will arrive at your home at the scheduled time and discuss your goals to understand your energy priorities.
Privacy Statement
Before the assessment starts, you’ll be asked to sign the Scorecard Privacy Statement.
Data Collection
The assessor will conduct a detailed evaluation of your home, recording information on all fixed appliances and features, which will be entered into the government-backed Scorecard tool. This includes:
Who’s Eligible?
- Construction: The build style of your home and the materials used.
- Room Sizes: Measurements of each room.
- Windows: Size, type (single/double glazed, low E), and details on blinds, curtains, pelmets, and orientation.
- Insulation: Assessment of your home’s insulation effectiveness.
- Hot Water System: Information about your hot water setup.
- Heating & Cooling: How your home is heated in winter and cooled in summer.
- Lighting: Types of lighting and their energy efficiency.
- Pool or Spa: Details of any pools or spas.
- Solar Power: Information on existing solar power systems.

You can obtain a Scorecard assessment for an existing:
- House or townhouse
- Unit or apartment
Please note:
- Homes that share heating, ventilation, or air conditioning with other dwellings are not eligible.
- Assessments are ineligible for VEU rebates/discounts if:
- You’ve received a VEU-incentivised Scorecard assessment at the same address in the past 5 years.
- Your home is a rooming house, guest house, hostel, student accommodation, or located on retirement village land.
Participation is completely voluntary.
